About Us

Glenni Lorick is a pastor's wife, lactation consultant, and author who lives in Madison, Alabama. She devoted her life to the Lord Jesus Christ when she was 17 years old. Seven years later she married Keith who is a pastor and hospice chaplain. They have served churches in Birmingham, Madison and Meridianville, Alabama, and in Chattahoochee, Florida. They also had the privilege of serving as missionaries to Lima, Peru. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
 
Glenni's first career was as a high school English (and later Spanish) teacher. She has taught in schools in Hughes, Arkansas, St. Louis, Missouri, San Jose, Costa Rica, and  Huntsville, Alabama. After giving birth to her first daughter in 1988, Glenni began her second career as a lactation consultant. She collaborated with the Ministry of Health in Peru to do lactation training in remote areas. She also brought the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners official exam to Peru. For 11 years she owned a breastfeeding boutique in Huntsville where she worked as a private practice lactation consultant. During that time she began The MOM Foundation, a 501c3 dedicated to providing prenatal, birth, and breastfeeding support to underserved and marginalized mothers. For the last 10 years Glenni has worked at Athens Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama as a lactation consultant. Her third career is as an author. She published a magazine called Valley Babies from 2006-2012. She also published a blog (Nurturing Moments) from 2011-2020. In April of 2023 Glenni published her first book, Fed By Design. Then the Lord gave her the title and outline for her second book. Pardon Me, Your Unbelief Is Showing in August of 2023. 

Glenni is entering a time of new focus on the speaking and writing ministry that God is giving her. Using humor, anecdotes from true life experiences, and the wisdom of God's Word, she reminds her readers and listeners that we are created by God's perfect design to bring Him honor and glory.
